Soul-Led Counselling and Spiritual Midwifery
for Individuals in periods of change, new life, loss or expansion
for Individuals in periods of change, new life, loss or expansion
Offering soul-led, trauma-aware, neuro-affirming counselling for individuals in periods of change, loss, expansion and transition.
Hi, I’m Alexandra — a counsellor, former Registered Midwife, and someone who understands what it’s like to move through profound change, loss, and becoming.
My work is shaped by years spent alongside people at life’s thresholds — birth, endings, identity shifts, and the quiet moments where everything you once knew no longer quite fits. I bring a deep respect for nervous systems, timing, and the wisdom that lives beneath coping.
I support individuals navigating trauma, grief, emotional overwhelm, neurodivergent identity exploration, relationship transitions, and major life changes — including the spaces where words are hard to find and certainty feels far away.
Professionally, my background spans healthcare, counselling, and trauma-aware practice, with experience working alongside multidisciplinary professionals and complex systems. I hold this work with care, clarity, and an understanding of how lived experience and systems intersect.
Alongside my professional training, my own lived experience of transition, loss, and identity re-formation informs how I work. It allows me to meet you without assumption or urgency, and to hold space that is grounded, spacious, and respectful of your pace.
My approach is warm, relational, and trauma-aware, guided by neuro-affirming principles and a belief that healing doesn’t need to be forced or rushed to be meaningful.
I work alongside you, at your pace, offering steadiness, curiosity, and compassion as you navigate what’s unfolding and begin to find your footing again.

I offer individual counselling that supports reflection, integration, and personal change. Sessions are grounded, trauma-aware, and held at a pace that feels safe and respectful.

I offer spiritual midwifery sessions informed by the Blue Lotus Method™, supporting reflection, integration, and change. Sessions are grounded, respectful, and paced to support safe, sustainable transformation.

I offer cyclical Blue Lotus–informed circles and seasonal retreats that support reflection, connection, and integration. These gatherings provide grounded, trauma-aware space for shared insight, rest, and meaningful renewal.

I welcome collaboration with practitioners whose work is grounded, ethical, and relational. My approach is trauma-aware and informed by the Blue Lotus Method™, supporting thoughtful, respectful cross-disciplinary partnership.

I hold a Bachelor of Midwifery, with non-practising registration with AHPRA, alongside a Graduate Diploma of Counselling. I am currently completing my Master’s degree, with additional training and experience in soul-led counselling and Internal Family Systems (IFS)–informed work.
I am a registered member of the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA).
I bring 25 years’ experience working across healthcare, counselling, trauma-informed practice, family systems, and complex relational dynamics. My work has included clinical care, multidisciplinary collaboration, organisational and systems-based environments, supporting people navigating life transitions, identity shifts, trauma, burnout, grief, neurodivergence, and periods of profound change.
Alongside professional training, my work is informed by lived experience of trauma, identity rupture, and deep personal transformation, which allows me to meet people with empathy, realism, and an understanding of how inner work intersects with real life.
My approach is grounded in The Blue Lotus Method™, a trauma-aware, soul-led framework that brings together counselling, embodiment, and deep listening to support people through meaningful life transitions.
I work alongside people in a way that is grounded, relational, and respectful of each person’s pace, offering support that honours both professional integrity and lived human experience.
The Blue Lotus Method™ is a trauma-aware, soul-led counselling approach I developed to support people through periods of transition, healing, and deep personal change.
It weaves together evidence-informed counselling principles with embodied awareness, relational safety, and gentle inner exploration. The method recognises that growth is not linear, and that meaningful change often unfolds in layers — through listening, integration, and timing, rather than force.
At its core, the Blue Lotus Method™ honours the idea that each person carries their own inner wisdom. My role is not to direct or fix, but to create a steady, supportive space where insight, clarity, and integration can naturally emerge.
Sessions are grounded, paced, and responsive to the individual. The work may include reflective conversation, parts-informed inquiry, somatic awareness, and values-based integration, always guided by what feels appropriate and supportive for the person in front of me.
The Blue Lotus Method™ is not about bypassing difficulty or rushing transformation — it is about meeting what is present with care, curiosity, and respect, allowing change to unfold in a way that feels safe, sustainable, and deeply human.
Yes — I offer telehealth sessions Australia-wide, as well as in-person and outreach sessions from my practice in Fremantle.
I work with Self-Managed and Plan-Managed NDIS participants, offering counselling and therapeutic support that is trauma-aware, neuro-affirming, and grounded in real-world contexts.
My work is informed by The Blue Lotus Method™, a soul-led, trauma-aware framework that supports people through periods of transition, integration, and change, and by a CLEAR-informed lens, which focuses on translating lived experience into language, structures, and supports that systems can work with.

All NDIS-funded work is collaborative, paced, and goal-aligned, with a focus on helping participants feel understood, supported, and able to engage more effectively with the people and systems around them
The first session is a gentle, spacious conversation.
We’ll begin by slowing things down and getting a sense of what has brought you here, what feels most present for you right now, and what you’re hoping support might offer. There’s no expectation to share everything at once, and no pressure to have the “right” words.
I’ll ask a few grounding questions to help orient us, and we’ll move at a pace that feels safe and manageable for you. The focus is on building a sense of trust, understanding what matters most, and beginning to clarify what support could look like.
For some people, the first session is about telling their story. For others, it’s about untangling confusion, naming what’s been hard, or simply being met without having to explain or justify themselves.
By the end of the session, we’ll usually have a clearer sense of what you’re carrying, what feels most important to attend to, and whether working together feels like the right fit. There is no obligation to continue — the first session is as much about you feeling comfortable as it is about beginning the work.
A Blue Lotus Session is a grounded, trauma-aware counselling session that offers space to slow down, listen inward, and make sense of what you’re carrying.
Sessions are guided by conversation, curiosity, and careful pacing. We begin with what feels most present for you — whether that’s a specific concern, a sense of confusion, or simply the feeling that something needs attention. There is no expectation to arrive with a clear agenda or to explain everything at once.
The work may include reflective dialogue, parts-informed exploration, gentle somatic awareness, or values-based clarification, depending on what feels supportive in the moment. At times, the focus may be on translating inner experience into language that can be shared with others or used within broader systems, when that’s helpful.
A Blue Lotus Session is not about fixing or forcing change. It’s about creating a steady, respectful space where insight, integration, and clarity can emerge at your pace.
You don’t need to understand any particular framework to benefit from a session. My role is to hold the space, guide the process, and walk alongside you as the work unfolds.
A Spiritual Midwifery session is a supportive, presence-based session focused on guiding you through periods of inner transition, threshold moments, or profound change.
Just as a traditional midwife supports birth without forcing or directing the process, Spiritual Midwifery is about holding steady space while something new is emerging — an identity, a decision, a letting-go, or a becoming.
These sessions are especially suited to times when you feel:
The work is conversational, reflective, and deeply paced. We may explore meaning, inner knowing, values, emotional truth, and what is asking to be honoured or released. The focus is not on fixing or analysing, but on supporting clarity, trust, and integration as you move through change.
Spiritual Midwifery sessions are grounded, respectful, and trauma-aware. They do not replace counselling or psychotherapy, and they are not about spiritual bypassing. They are about walking alongside you as you cross an inner threshold, with care, containment, and discernment.
You don’t need to be spiritual, intuitive, or have any particular belief system. The work meets you exactly where you are.
To preserve depth and continuity of care, I work within a small, contained practice. When capacity is reached, a waitlist is offered.
